    Former US President Barrack Obama To Visit Kenya On 16 July

    Former US President, Barrack Obama is set to visit the country next month on 16 July.

    He will be en route to South Africa to deliver the Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture which will take place on 17 July, 2018 at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Corlett Drive, Illivo.

    This lecture will mark Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.

    President Obama will be on a one day visit in Kenya where he will meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House before proceeding to K’ogelo, his hometown and then to Johannesburg, South Africa.

    This will be his first visit to Kenya since he left office on 20 January, 2017.

    State house Speaker, Manoah Esipisu is yet to confirm the details of the visit.
