    Paloma Bernardi is a multifaceted Brazilian actress, businesswoman, dancer, and radio host born on April 21, 1985, in São Paulo, Brazil.

    She has built a prominent career in the entertainment industry, spanning television, film, theater, and even advertising, where she began appearing in commercials as early as age four for brands like Giovanna Baby and Lacta.

    Bernardi graduated in 2005 with a Technical Acting degree from Senac and in 2006 with a degree in Radio and TV from the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo.

    Since 2009, she has collaborated with her family to run the Amarte Espaço Cultural arts institute in São Paulo, where she has directed plays and fostered artistic education.

    Her personal life has included high-profile relationships, such as with actors Bernardo Velasco in 2011, Thiago Martins from 2012 to 2017, and Dudu Pelizzari from 2018 to 2021, though she is currently single.

    Paloma has two siblings, Diego Bernardi and Rayssa Bernardi.

    As the daughter of businessman Nestor Bernardi and artist Dil Bernardi, she grew up in a family environment that emphasized creativity and entrepreneurship.

    Career

    Bernardi’s career kicked off in television at age 11 with her debut role as Antônia in the 1996 SBT telenovela Colégio Brasil.

    After a brief hiatus during her teenage years, she returned with vigor, landing significant roles that showcased her range.

    In 2008, she portrayed Luna in Rede Record’s Os Mutantes: Caminhos do Coração, a mutant mermaid character that spanned sequels.

    Her breakthrough came in 2009 with Mia Saldanha Ribeiro in Globo’s Viver a Vida, which catapulted her to national fame.

    She followed this with Alice Miranda in Insensato Coração (2011) and her first villainous role as Rosângela Sousa in Salve Jorge (2012).

    Bernardi’s television work continued with standout performances like Samara Avec in A Terra Prometida (2016), Isabela Aisen Gudman in Apocalipse (2017–2018), Bate-Seba in Reis (2022–2023), and upcoming roles in Arcanjo Renegado (2025–2026) and Ameaça Invisível (2022).

    In film, she has appeared in shorts like Para Sempre Fiel (2006) and features such as Lascados (2014), Mais Forte que o Mundo (2016), Os Parças (2017 and 2019), TPM! Meu Amor (2023), and Ninguém é de Ninguém (2023), with more projects slated for 2025.

    Her theater credits are equally impressive, including Fame – O Musical (2012) as Carmem Dias, Eles Não Usam Black-tie (2018–2019) as Maria, and Terremotos (2022) as Maya, alongside directing efforts.

    Beyond acting, she has featured in music videos for artists like Thiaguinho and hosted radio shows, while her participation in Dança dos Famosos (2014) earned her second place.

    Accolades

    In 2010, Paloma was nominated for Melhor Atriz Revelação at both Prêmio Globo de Melhores do Ano and Prêmio Contigo! for her role in Viver a Vida, and she won the Revelação award along with a nomination for Gata do Ano.

    The following year, she earned a nomination for Atriz at Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro for Insensato Coração.

    In 2013, another Gata do Ano nomination came for Salve Jorge, and she won Atriz Destaque in 2014.

    Her theater work brought a nomination for Melhor Atriz em Peça de Teatro at Prêmio Bibi Ferreira in 2022 for Terremotos.

    In 2023, she was nominated for Melhor Atriz at Troféu AIB de Imprensa and won Melhor Atriz Protagonista (via popular vote) at Prêmio ArteBlitz de Novela for Reis.

    As of 2024, she has pending recognition for Melhor Atriz Nacional for her films TPM! Meu Amor and Ninguém é de Ninguém.

    Additionally, she secured the Best Revelation award at Super Cap de Ouro in 2010 for Viver a Vida.
