A man of the cloth is in police custody for allegedly defiling a minor at local lodging in Vihiga County.
Patrick Kegondi, a pastor at African Divine Church (ADC), was busted on Sunday having sex with the 17-year-old girl in a lodging at Lunyerere within Sabatia Sub-county.
Reports indicate attendants and customer in the joint alerted the police shortly after Kegondi checked into his room with the Form-three student.
Thereafter, the pastor was whisked away.

He is currently detained at Kilingili Police station.
Chavakali chief, Hesbon Munavo, confirmed the incident saying the girl was taken to hospital to undergo medical tests, which will aid police with investigations.
