    Pete Ondeng Drops Out Of Presidential Race, Supports Joe Nyagah

    Pete Ondeng, Restore and Build Kenya Presidential candidate today put aside his ambitions and endorsed former Cabinet Minister, Joe Nyagah.

    Ondeng announced his candidature on May 2, 2017.

    He has however dropped out of the race because according to him, the field is crowded.

    “We cannot have 18 candidates,” he told the Nation on Monday, adding that more aspirants should “coalesce around individuals.”

    After lengthy talks with Mr Nyagah, Pete has offered to serve as his strategy and policy advisor.

    According to Pete, Mr Nyagah is the best suited candidate to provide Kenyans with alternative leadership and has what it takes to challenge the two dominant political groupings.

    Mr Nyagah, is expected to officially announce his bid on Wednesday.
