The Public Service Commission (PSC) has warned Kenyans to be cautious of fraudsters posing as commission staff and soliciting bribes in exchange for jobs, promotions, and shortlisting.

PSC Chairperson Anthony Muchiri, in a notice on Monday, condemned these individuals as criminals, emphasizing that all public service recruitments and promotions follow a transparent, merit-based, and competitive process in strict compliance with the Constitution and the law.

“The commission does not charge any fees for shortlisting or promotions,” Muchiri stated, distancing PSC from the fraudulent activities.

He urged Kenyans to remain vigilant and report any incidents of job scams to the relevant authorities.
