Word is coming that Turkana Senator John Munyes was today shot by his regular bodyguard in an act which has been called an accident. It is not clear what really happened but the Senator was returning from a Peace mission in Kibis area of Lodwar when the incident happened.
We are waiting for more information about this incident but the Senator is currently admitted at Lodwar district hospital.
