    State Agencies Advertise Jobs as NLB Seeks CEO, Senior Managers

    Several State agencies have announced fresh job opportunities, with the National Lottery Board (NLB) leading the recruitment drive after advertising its Chief Executive Officer position alongside several senior management roles.

    In a notice, the NLB invited qualified candidates to apply for the position of Chief Executive Officer/Fund Administrator as well as multiple senior vacancies across key departments.

    The board is seeking to recruit one person each for the positions of General Manager, Lottery Operations and Communications; Manager, Partnerships and Communications; Corporation Secretary and Manager, Legal Services; Manager, Finance and Accounts; Manager, Human Resource Management and Development; Manager, Supply Chain Management; Manager, Funding Strategy and Program Design; and Manager, Planning.

    According to the board, complete job descriptions, scope of work, qualifications and contract terms are available on its website.

    Applicants are required to submit detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, national identification documents and other testimonials to the Chairperson, National Lottery Board, 25th Floor, Old Mutual Towers, Hospital Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi.

    Applications must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the position name and job grade and received on or before June 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

    Meanwhile, Laikipia University has advertised 14 vacancies across various departments.

    In a notice issued on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the institution said it is seeking to recruit two Driver-cum-Mechanics, a Specialist in Programming/System Development, a Specialist in Networking and a Supplies Management officer.

    Other advertised positions include Educational Technologist Specialist, lecturers and senior lecturers.

    Interested applicants have been directed to access detailed qualifications and specifications through the university’s website.

    Candidates are required to submit five hard copies of their applications to the Registrar, Administration and Human Capital, Laikipia University, and also send a running PDF soft copy of the application package via email.

    The university said applications submitted after June 19, 2026, will not be accepted.

    The National Construction Authority (NCA) has also announced 17 job vacancies.

    The authority is recruiting for the positions of General Manager, Construction Development and Coordination (Compliance, Enforcement and Quality Assurance); General Manager, Human Resources and Administration; Manager, Construction Development and Coordination; 13 regional Managers for Construction Development and Coordination (Field Services); and Manager, National Construction Fund.

    Interested candidates have been asked to apply through the authority’s recruitment portal and submit signed application letters and curriculum vitae through email by June 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

    Elsewhere, the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme (KARI SRBS) has advertised the position of Pension Scheme Administrator.

    The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight in pension administration, governance, regulatory compliance, financial management and member service delivery.

    Applicants are required to submit hard copy applications, including academic and professional certificates, national identification documents and referee details to the scheme’s chairperson by June 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

    The Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre (KAGRC) has also advertised several permanent and pensionable vacancies.

    The institution is seeking to recruit a Principal Internal Auditor, Veterinary Officer, Administration Officer, six Laboratory Technicians, four Office Assistants and eight Livestock Assistants.

    Interested applicants can submit their applications online, through email or by hand delivery to the agency’s headquarters in Lower Kabete, Nairobi, by June 2, 2026.

    At the same time, the Human Resource Management Professionals Examinations Board (HRMPEB) has advertised positions for Principal Internal Auditor, Principal Examination Administration Officer, Senior Test Development Officer, Accountant and Driver.

    The board said job descriptions and requirements are available on its website, with applications expected by June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

    Additionally, the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) has announced vacancies for Manager, Internal Audit; Engineer I (Civil); Senior Office Administrator; Geologist; Planning Officer; Information Communication Technology Officer; and Driver.

    The agency said all applications must be submitted in hard copy and received by June 16, 2026.
