steve mbogoSteve Mbogo, Starehe Mp aspirant on an ODM ticket on Tuesday lost his bid to stop The Star, Nation Media Group, Mediamax and the Standard Group from publishing information related to an alleged defilement case.

Mbogo is said to have defiled a 15 year old minor on August 3, 2008 in Kileleshwa.

The business man while seeking the court injunction said the story would cause him ‘untold suffering and prejudice and have him at a disadvantage’ during the August poll.

He was handed a 20 year jail sentence but was later set free.
