If you didn’t use the Free servers, Geocities and the likes of Friendster, then you might feel that its Facebook, Twitter and MySpace which started social networking. We used to have forums which made us share and keep in touch with each other. Websites like Graduates also came along but disappeared the moment Facebook appeared on the scene.
I had a Geocities site. The service was eventually discontinued by Yahoo but it was great while it existed. Yahoo even had a service called My Briefcase. Mhhhh!!! Those were the good old days. How would you feel if you go all the info in graphic? It is a brief chart but it illustrates alot.
