K24 TV business news anchor Tony Timase has been accused by an unidentified college student of ‘date raping’ her over the weekend.
The lady claims that the anchor called her for a date to a “surprise” location and something happened between their date date and the next morning because she found herself in a boda boda stage.
Screenshots have been going round showing her conversation with the anchor alleging that they met but she could not remember anything from the previous night.
The reporter has denied the accusations saying that he was watching the final UEFA Champions League match between Liverpool and Real Madrid in the company of his colleagues.

“This is the craziest allegation I’ve ever heard. It’s not true. I don’t know a person by that name. On Saturday night, I was watching UCL finals pitting Liverpool against Real Madrid with my friend. After that, I went to Kengeles pub near Nyayo Stadium with my friend and my girlfriend,” Timase told a local daily.
The group of around 20 people were catching the game at a private party somewhere in Kileleshwa. Among them were Francis Gachuri, Geoffrey Musoku, Hunja Macharia and many other journalists.
But the lady’s boyfriend says that she came home ‘pretty much drugged.’
“You know man I used to respect you sana ukiwa kwa TV but this is how you are? Taking advantage of others just because you’re popular? I’m sure you wouldn’t let it slide if I slept with your woman, that’s if you have one. And so you had to drug her too to sleep with her or what? Because she was pretty much drugged when she came home,” the boyfriend said.
The lady in question is yet to report the matter to the police.
