Veteran thespian, Derrick Amunga better known to many as ‘Master Sugu’ in the TV drama ‘Tausi’, is DEAD. Amunga who was announced missing on Friday was found at Kenyatta National Hospital’s mortuary after allegedly being run over by a car.
Someone found his body and booked it at the national referral hospital’s mortuary. Amunga’s death comes hot on the heels of that of another actor, Nancy Nyambura “Jstorina” who died in hospital after succumbing to a short illness.
His last performance was in a play christened Trapped’ at Alliance Francaise just two weeks ago. Derrick is from Bungoma. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
