    Tom Felton was born on September 22, 1987, in Epsom, Surrey, England. He is the youngest of four sons born to Sharon Anstey and Peter Felton. His parents later divorced during his teenage years.

    Felton attended Cranmore School until age 13 before continuing his education at the Howard of Effingham School. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in music and singing, joining school choirs and eventually earning a place in the Guildford Cathedral Choir.

    He began acting through commercials for brands such as Barclaycard and Commercial Union. His early screen debut came in 1997 with the fantasy comedy The Borrowers, where he played Peagreen Clock. He later appeared in television projects including Bugs, Second Sight, and the historical drama Anna and the King (1999).

    “Harry Potter” Breakthrough

    Felton’s major breakthrough came in 2001 when he was cast as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. As Harry Potter’s school rival, Draco became one of the franchise’s most iconic antagonists.
