Police are investigating an incident where a body of a woman was found in her house in Uhuru Estate, Jogoo Road, Nairobi.
Police said the body of Emma Njambi Mwangi, 52 was found in her house long after she had died on Monday March 24.
The body was found on the sofa set in a sitting position.
Police who visited the scene sand she had no visible injuries at that time.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
In Suneka, Kisii County, a decomposing body of a man was found hanging on a tree after suspected murder.
Police said the body was found hanging with a mosquito net material tied around the neck.
Upon examining the body it had already started decomposing with physical injury on the head and eyes chopped off.
The state of the body revealed that the incident might have occurred at an unknown place and the body was brought to the scene.
The body was moved to Ogembo hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and identification.
Police said they are investigating murder.
In the same area, one Charles Ombongi, Onsarigo, 55 died after collapsing in his house.
The cause of the death is yet to be established, police said of the March 22 incident.
The body was taken to a local mortuary pending autopsy.
In Butere, Kakamega, the body of Eric Abuye Mahuyu, 18 was found on the roadside after suspected murder.
Police said the body was discovered in Emasinde village along Sabatia-Bululu road.
Police said the deceased was found with multiple cuts on the head and body.
There were no blood stains nor any offensive weapon at the scene which indicated it was a secondary scene, police said.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
