    WRA announces mass recruitment for multiple positions

    The Water Resources Authority has announced a mass recruitment drive targeting professionals across various technical and administrative fields.

    In a notice issued on May 12, 2026, the authority invited qualified candidates to apply for multiple vacancies aimed at strengthening water resource management and institutional operations.

    Among the positions advertised are Senior Water Resources Officer, Water Resources Officer, Water Resources Assistant, Senior Hydrologist, Hydrologist, Hydrological Assistant, Geologist, Chemist, Laboratory Technologist and Pollution Control Officer.

    The authority is also seeking to recruit Principal Water Resources Officers, Engineers, Assistant Engineering Officers, Community Engagement Officers, Customer Care Assistants, Legal Officers, ICT Officers, Accounts and Revenue Officers, Planning Officers, Records and Information Management Officers, Resource Mobilisation Officers, Assistant Office Administrators, Drivers and Office Assistants.

    WRA said successful candidates will initially serve on a six-month probation period before transitioning to permanent and pensionable terms, subject to satisfactory performance.

    “Remuneration will be subject to the existing terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission,” the authority said in the notice.

    The authority advised interested applicants to visit its website for detailed job descriptions, qualifications and application procedures.

    Further information on the vacancies and mode of application is available on the WRA website, www.wra.go.ke.

    The authority said all applications must be submitted on or before June 1, 2026.
