    Newly appointed ODM secretary general was today handed the tools of power and officially welcomed to his position.

    He said that his core mandate was revamp the glory that ODM as a party once had He welcomed back the old members and said that the secretariat will come up with new strategies to get new members.

    Edwin Sifuna said that that the main agenda of the party will be fight against electoral justice and the emerging dictatorship that was arising.

    He also said that the secretariat plans to rejuvenate the branches of the party by filling up the positions that were left by the massive defection that the party experienced during the election period.

    Edwin Sifuna also condemned the killing of the student from Meru university by police saying that he ought to accorded his rights within the constitution.
