    Siblings

Grace has an older sister, Laura Harris (born 18 August 1990), who is also a professional cricketer and has been a long-time teammate of Grace at Brisbane Heat and Queensland.

Laura is a hard-hitting right-handed batter who has played franchise cricket around the world, including for Delhi Capitals in the WPL.

Grace also has another sister, Eliza Harris, and a brother named Harry Davis.

    Career

Harris began her domestic career with Queensland in the 2010/11 season.

She broke into the international scene in August 2015 when she was called up as a replacement for the injured Delissa Kimmince and made her T20I debut against Ireland.

She followed this with her ODI debut against India in February 2016.

After a period away from the national team, she returned strongly and has since been a regular in Australia’s T20I setup.

Domestically, she has been a standout for Brisbane Heat across multiple WBBL seasons, producing memorable all-round performances.

In franchise cricket, she has featured in the Women’s Premier League for UP Warriorz and later Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as well as The Hundred for London Spirit.

Her aggressive batting style has produced several high-impact innings, including rapid centuries and match-winning contributions in T20 cricket.

    Accolades

Harris was part of Australia’s gold-medal-winning squad at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and contributed to Australia’s success in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup campaigns, including the 2023 title in South Africa.

In the Women’s Big Bash League, she became the first player to score a century and take four wickets in the same match early in the competition’s history.

She later set a then-fastest WBBL century, scoring 100 off 42 balls, and recorded the highest individual score in the league with an unbeaten 136.

She helped Brisbane Heat to back-to-back WBBL titles and Queensland Fire to their first WNCL title.

Individual honours include Brisbane Heat Player of the Season awards and selection in WBBL Teams of the Tournament.
