Vasek Pospisil is a Canadian professional tennis player, born on June 23, 1990, in Vernon, British Columbia.

He has made a name for himself in both singles and doubles competitions, achieving a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 25 in January 2014 and a peak doubles ranking of No. 4 in April 2015.

Pospisil is particularly celebrated for his accomplishments in doubles, most notably winning the Wimbledon Championships in 2014 with American partner Jack Sock.

Career

In May 2009, he and partner Adil Shamasdin won the Mexico F4 and F5 doubles titles, marking the start of his success in doubles.

By July 2009, Pospisil reached his first professional singles final at the USA F17 tournament but ultimately lost to Michael Venus.

He continued to build momentum by winning several singles and doubles titles in various tournaments across Europe and North America.
