    Jerami Grant is an American professional basketball player currently with the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA.

    Ge gained recognition during his time at DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland and later played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange, where he averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds in his final season.

    He has played for several teams, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he had notable performances and achieved a career-high of 28 points in a game.

    In addition to his NBA career, Grant represented the United States at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, helping the team secure a gold medal.

    Jerami has three brothers who have all been involved in basketball at various levels.

    His oldest brother, Jerai Grant, played college basketball at Clemson University from 2008 to 2011, where he was known for his rebounding and shot-blocking abilities.

    After going undrafted in 2011, Jerai had a professional career that spanned several countries, including Australia, France, Argentina, and Israel.

    Jerian Grant, another of Jerami’s older brothers, played college basketball at Notre Dame from 2011 to 2015.

    He was selected 19th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards and went on to play for the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, and Orlando Magic over four seasons in the NBA.

    The youngest brother, Jaelin Grant, also pursued basketball and played at DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland.

    He has aspirations of playing professionally like his older brothers.

    Career

    Grant played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange from 2012 to 2014.

    He was a highly regarded recruit, committing to Syracuse over other schools like Notre Dame and Rutgers due to the team’s playing style and his relationship with the coaching staff.

    During his freshman season, Grant initially played limited minutes but quickly made an impact when called upon, averaging 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds in his sophomore year.

    His performance earned him All-ACC Honorable Mention honors in 2014, showcasing his versatility as a forward.

    After two successful seasons at Syracuse, Grant declared for the NBA Draft in April 2014, foregoing his final two years of eligibility.

    He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers as the 39th overall pick in the second round.

    Over his NBA career, Grant has played for several teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, and Detroit Pistons.

    He has developed into a key player known for his defensive skills and scoring ability, achieving a career-high of 43 points in a game while with the Pistons during the 2020-2021 season.

    Grant continues to be a significant contributor in the league, now playing for the Portland Trail Blazers.

    Grant has earned several accolades throughout his basketball career, both in college and the NBA.

    During his time at Syracuse University, he was recognized for his contributions on the court.

    In 2014, he received All-ACC Honorable Mention honors during his sophomore season, reflecting his impact as a versatile forward and his ability to contribute on both ends of the floor.

    In the NBA, Grant continued to build on his success. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2015 after a strong debut season with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he showcased his potential as a dynamic player.

    Over the years, he has been praised for his defensive skills and versatility, which were particularly evident during the Denver Nuggets’ playoff run in 2020.

    In the Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, he scored a playoff career-high of 26 points while also taking on the challenge of guarding elite players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
