Joshua Alba is an American actor best known as the younger brother of renowned actress Jessica Alba.
Born Joshua Lauren Alba on July 8, 1982, in Biloxi, Mississippi, he grew up in a military family due to his father Mark Alba’s career in the U.S. Air Force.
The family moved frequently, including stints in Mississippi, Texas, and eventually settling in California.
Joshua shares Mexican (Spanish and Native American) heritage from his father’s side and Danish and French Canadian roots from his mother’s.

Joshua began his acting career at age 18, making his debut in the television series Dark Angel (2000–2002), where he played the recurring role of Krit (X5-471) alongside his sister Jessica, who starred as Max.
