    Reveler fatally stabbed in Homa Bay club

    A 30-year-old man was stabbed and killed in a commotion in a club in Kendu Bay, Homa Bay County.

    Police said Amos Jalango was in the company of his friends at the Signature Club on February 15 when he was attacked and stabbed in the head.

    He was apparently attacked by a female bar attendant in a confrontation and rushed to the hospital where he succumbed four days later.

    The body was moved to the mortuary as police arrested the woman accused of fatally stabbing the man.

    Police said they were investigating the murder and that the man was stabbed in the head three times. It is not clear what prompted the confrontation.

    In Kabula, Bungoma County, one Victor Wanjala, 30 was found dead and lying in a pool of blood. Police said the deceased was stabbed in the chest by a woman suspected to be his girlfriend.

    Police who visited the scene said they recovered the suspected killer weapon concealed in a container with corn flour.

    A blood-soaked towel, a bloodied mobile phone and blood swab of the deceased were collected at the scene as part of the probe into the murder.

    The suspected assailant was arrested pending interrogation and arraignment as the body was moved to the mortuary for autopsy.

    In Kangeta, Meru County, the body believed to be of Eric Munene, 41 who was reported missing was exhumed from a shallow grave following an investigation.

    The man was reported missing on February 3, 2026. Police said he had been buried in a shallow grave in his father’s land and the body had decomposed.

    The motive of the murder was not immediately known and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

    Police said they were pursuing good leads into the murder.

    Elsewhere in Dede, Migori County, one Mark Ochieng, 34 was found dead after he was fatally assaulted.
