    Senne Lammens is a Belgian professional footballer born on July 7, 2002, in Zottegem, Belgium.

    He plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Manchester United and the Belgium national team.

    Lammens is known for his commanding presence, excellent shot-stopping abilities, composure in distribution, and strong aerial command.

    He joined Manchester United in September 2025 from Royal Antwerp and has quickly established himself as a key player in his debut season.

    Senne has an older brother named Tom Lammens, who is a footballer playing for Belgian lower-league side KVC De Toekomst Borsbeke.

    Tom, a forward by trade, followed a similar youth path through local clubs like KRC Bambrugge, where their father Eddy was involved in coaching.

    Their father Eddy, a former player, along with uncles and a great-uncle involved in local clubs, highlights the deep footballing roots in the Lammens family.

    Career

    Lammens began his career in the youth system of Club Brugge, where he progressed through the ranks and featured in their academy setups before making senior appearances.

    He later moved to Royal Antwerp in 2023, where he became a regular starter, earning recognition for his performances in the Belgian Pro League, including keeping the most clean sheets in the 2024/25 season and helping the team win the Belgian Super Cup.

    In September 2025, Manchester United signed him for around £18 million as part of their squad rebuilding efforts.

    He made his debut shortly after and has delivered commanding performances, contributing significantly to the team’s defensive stability with numerous key saves and a high save percentage.

    Lammens has also earned senior caps for Belgium, building on his strong youth international record.

    Accolades

    At club level, Lammens won multiple Belgian Pro League titles and Super Cups with Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp.

    In his debut Premier League season with Manchester United (2025/26), he was named the Premier League Transfer of the Season by Barclays, reflecting his immediate impact.

    He has been praised for his consistency and has been a strong contender in goalkeeping discussions for the Belgian national team.
