    Maribe, Jowie Plead Not Guilty To Murder Charge

    Jacque Maribe and fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie  have pleaded not guilty to murder charge of murdering Monica Kimani. The two entered a plea of not guilty before Justice Jessie Lessit.

    Counsel for the defense asked the prosecution to provide the witness statements , evidence and exhibits that they intend to use during the trial.

    The prosecution agreed to present all the documents excluding the statements from the protected witnesses . The prosecution also said that they will wait for direction from the witness protection agency.

    The bail hearing will be heard in another court and counsel are expected to  appear in court on October 17 for mention of the matter and also to get dates for the bail hearing.
