Ministry of Information Communication and Technology CS, Joe Mucheru has appointed Ms Katherine Getao as the new CEO of Information and Communications Technology Authority for the next three years.
“In exercise of the power conferred by the Information and Communications Technology Authority Order, 2013, the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication and Technology appoints Katherine Getao (DR) to be the Chief Executive Officer for the ICT Authority for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 11th October, 2018.” reads the statement.

Ms Getao, who previously served as ICT Secretary at the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology takes over from acting CEO John sergon.
