Supreme Court judge Mohammed Ibrahim is in the middle of a gun brandishing saga at his Spring Valley home on Thursday morning.

The judge has been accused of threatening a security guard, Charles Onguso and director of Pan Security Ronald Ayiela with a gun.

The case was reported at the Spring Valley Police Station under OB number 3/21/3/2019.

Justice Ibrahim has since denied the allegations noting that he does not own a gun nor does he have a firearm license.

The altercation is said to have occurred after the judge accused the guard of allowing strangers use a toilet in his compound.

Other reports indicate that the judge was unhappy when Ayiela informed him that they intended to change the guard working at his home. This Ayiela said was standard practice.

A dissatisfied Ibrahim objected to the idea maintaining that he wanted the guard he was familiar with to stay. It is then there was a verbal exchange leading to Ibrahim pulling a gun on them.

The case is apparently being investigated by DCI officers owing to the sensitive nature of the matter.

The Apex court judge has been making headlines after lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi accused him of taking a bribe to rule in favour of Wajir Governor Mohammed Abdi.

Ibrahim on his part threatened to sue the city lawyer for publishing defamatory tweets about him.

In 2012, then Deputy Chief Justice Nancy Baraza was removed from office following a recommendation by a seven-member tribunal.

Baraza had pulled a gun on a Village Market security guard, Rebecca Kerubo on December 31, 2011.
