PIC Chairman and Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has tonight been shown in pictures with female companion known only as Prisca Mwaro, enjoying himself in India. The MP who is among a delagation of PIC members in India to investigate the pre-election purchase of equipment for a total of over Sh10 billion.
The legislators are particularly investigating the purchase of BVRs. They are particularly meeting 4G Identity Solutions chiefs, one of the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits Ksh 3.9 billion tender bidders. The tender was eventually awarded to a French firm, Safran Morpho.
It is not clear who sponsored the trip by the female companion but the companies being investigated are known to spend lots of money to make such investigators comfortable.
Ababu is shown in the pictures fondling and kissing the female companion as they marvel at the sight of the Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
