The court has adjourned a case filed by NASA seeking to block the deployment of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) to violence prone area ahead of the Tuesday general elections.
NASA argued that the said deployment would take place without parliament’s approval which is goes against the constitution.
The coalition believes that the deployment will also intimidate voters not to exercise their right to vote.

KDF however claims it has received no such order to deploy forces.
NASA accepted the explanation by the court and KDF but said they would not withdraw the case as they still had issues they would like addressed,
The case was adjourned to September 22.
