Dutch duo Virgil van Dijk  and Vivianne Miedema have won the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year awards for 2018-19. The greatest marathoner of all-time Eliud Kipchoge stormed to yet another victory, winning the 2019 London Marathon for a fourth time clocking 2:02:38 to inscribe his name in the athletics books. Britain’s Mo Farah, who finished third in last year’s race  and was touted as one of the race favourites finished fifth. Deputy Inspector General of the National Police Service Joseph Kiget has promised stern action against Asbel Kiprop for using unofficial channels to vent his frustrations. Kenya’s football team Harambee Stars is set to warm-up against Barea of Madagascar ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. The friendly is set for June 7 in Saint-Leu Forest, France, Madagascar Football Federation has confirmed.
