Kenyan Premier League sides; Sofapaka, Tusker and AFC Leopards are set to sign Rwandan custodians as they beef up their squads ahead of next season. Gor Mahia Organizing Secretary Judith Nyangi was this morning arrested for allegedly defrauding a fan by the name Dave Last Born Ksh 60,000 and is currently held at Buruburu Police Station. The prosecution has formally withdrawn corruption charges relating to the 2016 Rio Olympics against former athletics champion Kipchoge Keino. He is likely to become a state witness other officials charged over the mismanagement of more than KSh55 million ($545,000). His lawyer Cecil Miller did not object to the withdrawal which now also expunges a requirement to report to the police. Keino would have faced two counts of using his office to misappropriate funds during the Rio Games. Football Kenya Federation (FKF)  is yet to appeal against the reinstatement of Equatorial Guinea in the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. FKF had announced that they would challenge the CAF Appeal Board’s 8 November 2018 decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) but this has not happened two days to the tournament in Ghana.
