The Simbas suffered their second Repechage loss this afternoon in the hands of Hong Kong Rugby losing 17-42.

A Felix Ayange offload saw Tony Onyango dot down Kenya’s first try with Sammy Oliech adding the conversion for Simbas to lead 7-0. Six minutes later, Kenya scored their second well worked open play try that set up Elkeans Musonye to land the second try with the conversion sailing wide. Simbas led 12-0.

With less than five minutes on the clock, Hong Kong pounced on a loose Kenyan Ball and landed their first try narrowing the gap to 12-7. Scores remained the same to the breather.

Second half was a full Hong Kong show as they landed four successfully converted tries while The Simbas scored one try through Tony Onyango. The conversion was however short.

The Simbas still have one more match on Friday 23rd November against Germany.

Captain Wilson Kopondo echoed that the team needs to work hard on the errors they made mostly in the second half as they prepare to take on Germany.
