Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has said he will not be campaigning for Raila Odinga in his county. He said that the campaigns before August 8 were enough. He likened campaigning for Raila Odinga in Kilifi to asking a Bishop to accept Jesus as his Lord and saviour. Former Nairobi governor Dr. Evans Kidero has said that the increase in Nairobi county revenue is not unusual. He says that the increase was due to the seasonal tickets paid by the 30,000 matatus, paid on a monthly basis. NASA affiliated  Member of County Assembly Peter Imwatok has surrendered himself to the Industrial Area police after leaving his gun at Galitos Oil Libya at the junction of Enterprise road and Lusaka Road.
