Passengers  who plan to depart from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have been asked to arrive at the airport four hours prior. The Kenya Airport Authority has said that due to the disruption by VIPs arriving for the inauguration ceremony of president Uhuru Kenyatta “Airport users will be allowed to access JKIA through Mombasa Rd. NASA CEO Norman Magaya has said that the meeting in Jacaranda grounds will still go on despite police banning it. During an interview with KTN News Magaya said that Japheth Koome is not the law. The High Court in Nairobi has sentenced the principal secretary for defense Saitoti Torome to six months in civil jail. The  court said that the the PS had failed to enforce a court order directing him to pay 17.2 million to a family.
