The Government of Somalia has denied “proffering to bid” Kenya’s potential maritime zones to external bidders. Two nurses stationed at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, Nairobi are receiving treatment after being attacked by patients last night. According to Citizen, three civilians walked into the facility demanding to get treatment. The caregivers are said to have declined to attend to them. They apparently got worked up after they were notified that the nurses on duty were attending to other pressing matters. This got them worked up forcing them to brutally attack the nurses. Someone is apparently trying to steal land that belonged to the late Moses Ssekibogo alias Mowzey Radio, his musical partner Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel has alleged. Two Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) employees were on Saturday arrested after they were caught on tape stealing luggage straps belonging to African Freight Services. According to the DCI, the two are Evans Akola Agunda and Mercy Chepkorir. Akola is a aircraft marshaller and Chepkorir is an intern. In a video posted on Twitter by the DCI, the marshaller alights from a Toyota, walks over to where the straps are and picks a couple of them. His female colleague does not leave the vehicle. Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday put on hold Presidential election to February 23, 2019. This was a mere five hours until the polls opened for the two day exercise. One of the reasons cited for delaying the crucial vote was the logistics problem. Kenyan Football legend Joe Kadenge has allegedly been admitted at the Nairobi Hospital after suffering a stroke. Kahawa Tungu understands that he was admitted at the facility’s High Dependency Unit on Thursday. According to his children, Kadenge developed complications last night while at his Nairobi residence.
