The Association of Civilian Gun owners has moved to court to challenge the directive made by CS Fred Matiang’i, for all civilian gun holders to undergo fresh vetting. The association filed the petition at Milimani Law Courts on Thursday, seeking to suspend CS Matiang’i’s order until their case is heard and determined. They are challenging the order to suspend the licence of the shooting range in Gitata Farm at Kirigiti, Kiambu, arguing that the move is illegal. Former Ruaraka OCS Nahashon Mutua has been convicted with the murder of an inmate on December 19, 2013. Former President Daniel Arap Moi is currently at the Nairobi Hospital. Kenya’s second head of state is set to undergo a routine medical check up. Three people died on Wednesday morning as the car they were travelling in, Registration Number KCP 606Z lost control along Mbagathi Way. Witnesses say that in the car were three female occupants.
