A woman of American descent had her goods stolen on Tuesday while at the Hilton Hotel, Nairobi. According to Jennie Lee’s mother, Gayle Lee, her daughter is in Kenya working as a volunteer. Jennie says that the culprit took with them her passport and credit cards and other personal effects worth thousands of dollars. Chandarana Foodplus Supermarket employee who sent a racist email has since gone missing. Rima Patel, the supermarket managers told National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), vanished and has not reported to work since July 27. Director of operations at Chandarana, Hanif Rajan said that Ms Patel was on a three month work permit.
