Police HQ has summoned officers taped making calls and demanding for people to attend Prophet David Owuor’s two day healing crusade at Uhuru Park. The officers have been asked to show cause why disciplinary measures should not be taken against them. Police HQ has apparently demanded to know why they campaigned against medication and called for people to go to Owuor for healing. The armed police officers encouraged people to show up because the “man of God” could heal all diseases including cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure among others. Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has launched investigations into the alleged mistreatment of local employees by the Chinese company that operates the standard gauge rail (SGR). China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) management has been accused of discrimination and blatant discrimination against Kenyan workers. The accident involved a 14-seater Lina Sacco matatu and a personal car. A group of University of Nairobi (UoN) students are wanted by the police after they attacked Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) doctors on Saturday night. The 10 students failed to appear before Milimani Principal Magistrate Peter Ooko on Monday who then ordered for their arrest. Makueni Boys High School on Saturday had its student council elections conducted by the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
