A section of Kirinyaga MCAs have said that Narc Kenya party leader and former Kirinyaga county governor candidate, Martha Karua is a NASA mole and a traitor. The 33 ward representatives called out Karua after she filed a petition challenging Anne Waiguru’s win. Michael Nene, a Nairobi Trader was caught by National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) with 10 tonnes of already banned plastic paper bags. On Wednesday 6 September, four IEBC commissioners walked out of Chairman Wafula Chebukati’s meeting protesting the appointment of the new team to oversee fresh presidential elections. On Wednesday, 6 September, a bus plying Mwiki – Nairobi route rammed into a lorry ferrying stones near the Garden City Mall along the Thika Superhighway.
