Kilifi Mps want NASA to name one of their own, Amason Kingi or Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho named as coalition principal.
The legislators say that the two have delivered many seats for the Raila Odinga led camp.
“As people from Mombasa and Kilifi, we are saying either Joho or Kingi must be in that team of principals,” said Kilifi North MP Owen Baya.
“Some of the principals being brought in may not add value but the two have done a lot here at the coast.”
Kingi delivered the senator, woman representative and 27 MCA seats in the August 8 poll.
“This is not a request. We are demanding this since Kingi and Joho have a following not only at the Coast but also countrywide,” Baya added.

“We need a bigger stake as we go to campaign for Raila in the repeat polls.”
NASA on Tuesday welcomed former Meru Governor, Peter Munya as the 5th principal overlooking Joho and Kingi.
Kingi recently mentioned that either he or Joho will be vying for the presidency in 2022.
