Detectives are investigating the murder of a man whose body was found on the roadside in Naivasha Town, Nakuru County. Two suspected thugs were dramatically stoned to death on Tuesday evening in a botched robbery mission in Kileleshwa, Nairobi. The two were riding on a motorcycle when a mob at the junction of Olengurune-Gatundu Road confronted them. Witnesses said the men had been attacking and robbing pedestrians when an alarm was raised, alerting the public. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has called for parties involved in the war in Iran to de-escalate hostilities quickly – and said while he supports the strikes, it is a position he takes “with regret”. A form three student was arrested after he hit and killed a Grade Nine pupil in a fight in Embobut, Elgeyo Marakwet County. The two were fighting on March 2 in Kaptul village when the form three student picked a piece of wood and hit the deceased in the head. An autopsy on six bodies of the fatal Nandi plane crash confirmed that the victims died as a result of multiple injuries to the chest and head. The injuries were in the spinal, chases, and head among other body parts, the postmortem said. The injuries were sustained during the fatal chopper crash in Mosop, Nandi County. US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has agreed to testify before a congressional panel investigating the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Lutnick “has proactively agreed to appear voluntarily” for a transcribed interview as part of the House Oversight Committee investigation, chairman James Comer announced on Tuesday. A Nakuru Law Courts ruled that six Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers have a case to answer in the high-profile disappearance of Brian Odhiambo. The six, Francis Wachira, Alexander Lorogoi, Isaac Ochieng Odhiambo, Michael Wabukala, Evans Kimaiyo, and Abdulrahaman Ali Sudi are charged with abducting Odhiambo on January 18, 2025, in Bondeni, Nakuru East Sub-County, with alleged intent to secretly and wrongfully confine him.
