Two suspects were attacked and lynched by a mob after allegedly stealing and slaughtering a sheep in a village in Kinangop, Nyandarua County. Police said they were caught red handed after they had slaughtered a sheep which was among the three sheep reported missing by a neighbour during the day on June 12. Police are investigating at least nine murder cases reported on Wednesday June 11, alone in the country. The first incident was reported in Kakamega’s Kakunga area where a body was found abandoned on a roadside. Police identified the victim as Brian Chemoi, 25. A carpenter died after he fell from the ninth floor of a building under construction in Kondele, Kisumu County. The victim was among workers at the Lumumba Affordable Housing Project in Kaloleni area when he slipped and fell off on June 10.
