Police have been accused of firing live bullets at NASA leaders including Raila Odinga, Suna East MP Junnet Mohamed and his Rarieda counterpart Otiende Amollo. Sonko Rescue team on Friday recovered the wreckage of the helicopter that crashed in Lake Nakuru three weeks ago. The rescue team whose competence and qualifications were questioned by Kenyans has been on site for the past three weeks. The Saturday morning crash claimed five lives, including that of Captain Apollo Malowa and Anthony Kipyegon whose remains were found on October, 24. Raila Odinga’s communication team has alleged that attempts have been made on the NASA leader’s life after pictures circulated showing what looks like bullet holes on the windscreen of his car. Kenya Airways has released statement saying it will re book customers who have missed their flights due to disruptions on Mombasa road. The National carrier says they have been impacted by the disruption on Mombasa Road, with some guests departing from JKIA in missing their flights. “Our operations are running as scheduled. Any guest who will miss their flight will be re booked on the next one, at no fee. Kenya Airways have filed notice of appeal against a court ruling demanding that the National Carrier reinstates it embattled ex Finance Director, Alex Mbugua. Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who this afternoon (Thursday 26th) was arrested on Ngong road has been charged for not wearing a helmet. A 15 year old form one student at Got Kachola Mixed Secondary School in Migori County died after he fell in a mine hole.
