Kenya designated 13 individuals as being involved in terrorism and the financing of terrorist activities, subjecting them to targeted financial sanctions aimed at cutting off their access to the formal financial system. A fire that started in Lake View Estate on Friday afternoon spread into Lake Nakuru National Park, affecting the Honeymoon Hill area. The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) said the fire broke out at around 4:00 p.m. and spread quickly due to dry conditions. Police have recovered a pistol in Dandora, Nairobi, as security agencies continue a nationwide crackdown on criminal gangs.
