At least 55 percent of Kenyan teens have watched pornography related content, new survey by research firm Trends and Insights For Africa (TIFA) has revealed. According to TIFA Managing Director Gerry Kweya, the students in primary and secondary schools have interacted with sexual explicit content with 62 percent being male students and 37 percent being female. The research conducted between January 25 and April 3, was carried out in seven schools in Nairobi and Kiambu counties. The private parts of a man recently attacked in Migori county have been recovered in Tanzania, police say. Felix Otieno, 30, was attacked by unknown people in Suna East Sub-county on April 13. Reports indicate Otieno was on his way from a drinking joint in Masara trading centre when he was attacked and his manhood chopped off. Confirming the new revelations, Migori County police boss, Joseph Nthenge said Otieno’s manhood was recovered in Sirare, Tanzania, on Wednesday night by officers acting on a tip off. Nairobi residents will have to brace themselves for a longer period of dry taps,  Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited (NCWSC) has warned. In a notice, the city water company released an updated water distribution program set to guide residents on when to expect water in their region. According to the notice, regions in Nairobi will receive water in different set days of the week. “Customers are urged to immediately contact the customer care team in regional offices should you not receive water in your allotted days of supply,” the notice read in part. The number of staff affected by Cholera at the Nairobi Hospital has risen to 52, sources say. The staff are currently hospitalized at the hospital. The new revelations contradict an earlier statement issued by the hospital that the facility was in control of the situation. On Monday, a staff member reportedly died of cholera due to negligence at the facility. The management, however, issued a statement to dismiss the claims of cholera within the premier health facility. A 30-year-old Chinese man is in police custody for allegedly shooting and killing his employee after an argument in Andara area Kavango East region, Namibia. Reports indicate an argument arose when the dismissed employee confronted his employer for his outstanding salary. Shortly after, the business man is said to have brandished his gun and shot the man four times on the chest fatally wounding him. Reports indicate the man died on the way to hospital. The Nairobi Hospital Board of Management has dismissed Chief Executive Officer Gordon Otieno Odundo. Odundo had been sent on compulsory leave in December last year to allow for an audit of the hospital’s tendering process. Drama ensued in the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Wednesday after a bomb scare disrupted a Kenya Airways flight KQ 762 for OR-Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. Sources say, it all started with an argument between one of the passengers on-board and a flight attendant at around 1pm. In the middle of undisclosed argument, the passenger mentioned the word “bomb”, causing panic in the plane that was ready for take-off. Deposed Sudan President Omar Al-Bashir has been moved to Kober Maximum Security prison in Khartoum. During his reign, Albashir detained his dissidents in Kober prison before they were executed. Daring thieves on Tuesday night gained entry into Kobujoi Police Station in Nandi County and got away with three rifles and several rounds of ammunition. Reports indicate officers at the station had stepped out to watch the UEFA champions league match between Manchester United and Barcelona last night. Officers drawn from the Kenya Forest Services (KFS) and Kenya Wildlife services (KWS) are currently battling a fire outbreak in Ontulili Forest area, Mt Kenya. The fire is said to have affected over 100 acres of vegetation in the area. The inferno comes two months after another fire outbreak razed over 80,000 hectares of Moorland in Mt Kenya.
