    Brandon Marshall was born in Pittsburgh on March 23, 1984. He attended Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida, where he developed into a standout football player.

    Marshall later played college football at the University of Central Florida for the UCF Knights football. During his collegiate career, he gained recognition for his strong performances and was named Hawaii Bowl MVP as well as Second-Team All-Conference USA in 2005.

    Marshall was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played with the Broncos from 2006 to 2009, establishing himself as one of the league’s rising receivers.

    He later played for several other NFL teams, including:

    • Miami Dolphins (2010–2011)
    • Chicago Bears (2012–2014)
    • New York Jets (2015 onward during that stage of his career)

    During his time in the league, Marshall earned five Pro Bowl selections in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013. He was also named Pro Bowl MVP in 2011 and earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2012.

    One of his most notable achievements came when he set the NFL record for most receptions in a single game, catching 21 passes. Over his career, he also surpassed 10,000 receiving yards, joining the prestigious 10,000 Receiving Yards Club.

    Marshall secured several lucrative contracts during his NFL career. In 2011, he signed a four-year, $47.5 million contract with the Miami Dolphins. Later, he agreed to another major deal reportedly worth $39.3 million over four years with the New York Jets.
