    Church Leaders In Kisumu Ask Chebukati To Go and Collect His Ballot Boxes As The People Have Refused To Vote

    kisumuChurch leaders and political leaders in Kisumu during a joint statement have said that elections took place but was divided.one part of the country voted while the other part boycotted.All this views need to be respected.

    Its wrong for Chebukati to ask Boinet to assist in ensuring the election is tantamount to licensing a massacre on the people.The people of Nyanza have made their views clear with regards to the election which should be respected.

    The Church leaders led by Professor Godia who is an ordained leader of the Anglican church said that they are against violence and that every person has a right to self defense. Murders that are taking place must be condemned by any sane leader, asked church leaders from other regions to condemn the killings in Kisumu.

    The church leaders asked Acting Interior Cs to withdraw the high military contingent and for Chebukati to go and pick his ballot boxes as it was like forcing someone into an unwanted marriage.

    The governor Anyang Nyong’o reiterated the same saying that the use of during elections was leading to unnecessary loss of life.
