
Daystar University has been indefinitely closed following the misunderstandings between the administration and the students over a forensic audit report that was conducted in the school
The students and staff council leaders had demanded that the report be disclosed but they slapped with suspensions. the student leaders had complained of poor services within the private university. They said that services did not commensurate the high fees that they paid.

Following the unrest that led police to teargas the leaders who were having a meeting with the council, the school has now been closed indefinitely.
“The senate sitting closes the university by noon today. The Senate consequently ask both students and staff to vacate both Nairobi and Athi River campuses by the indicated time,” acting Vice Chancellor James Kombo said.
All students and staff were asked to vacate the premises .
