Deputy President Doctor William Ruto has hit back at former Prime Minister Raila Odinga after the ODM leader said that the car presented to Arch Bishop Anyolo presented by Ruto was rejected .
Ruto in his tweet revealed that the car worth Sh.4 million presented to the Archbishop was a gift from christian leaders such as him and President Kenyatta on request of the chairman f the Catholic Members of Parliament.

He then said that the gift was for empowering the church and that annoyed magicians and the evil spirits they worship.

The gift was allegedly returned after the pope intervened stating that the gift was obtained through the proceeds of corruption. Raila had made this allegations during a funeral in Ugenya.
He said that proceeds of corruption were being taken to the churches while Kenyans continued to suffer.
The Archbishop confirmed that he had returned the gift that was presented to him directing that it is used in another institution. He said that he was already content with his status at the time the gift was given to him.
