Sony Sugar striker Enock Agwanda has become the first player to win Kenyan Premier League player of the month award twice on the bounce.
Agwanda unanimously beat Nakumatt’s Joe Waithera to clinch the August’s honors, a second on the trot after July’s.
His first goal of the month came in 3-1 win against relegation bound Thika United, a goal he scored from the spot.
The ex-Sofapaka, Gor Mahia player then netted in 1-0 win over Ulinzi away before crowning the month with a brace against Kariobangi Sharks.
Agwanda, who has been at the center of Sony’s resurgence since re-joining the Awendo based outfit mid this year, now boasts nine goals against a personal target of five.

Our target still remains to finish top five,” Agwanda, who joined Sony from division two side Ushuru, said.
For his troubles, he walked home with a trophy, 49-inch TV and Ksh 100,000.
