    Harambee Stars Set To Receive Sh26 Million Afcon Preparations Money

    Harambee Stars are expected to receive Ksh26 million from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to aid their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

    The money is part of the tournament’s Ksh45 million prize money each of the 24 qualified team are entitled to and it is advanced to federations and associations will lesser budgets.

    The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has already received Ksh244 million from the government, money meant to facilitate the teams participation in the prestigious championship.

    FKF also secured Harambee Stars Ksh22 million sponsorship deal from sports betting firm Betin.

    The team is scheduled to camp in France for two weeks from 26th May before traveling to Egypt for the tournament slated to run from 21st June to 19th July.
