    Helena Ranaldi Nogueira, born on May 24, 1966, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a renowned Brazilian actress known for her captivating performances in television, film, and theater.

    She began her journey in the entertainment industry after gaining recognition as one of the five finalists in the Supermodel of the World – Brazil competition in 1989, organized by Class Models and Ford Models, which opened doors to modeling jobs and television commercials.

    Over the years, she has built a solid reputation in Brazilian telenovelas and series, showcasing her versatility as an actress and even venturing into writing and producing.

    In her personal life, Helena has been married multiple times, first to director Ricardo Waddington from 1994 to 2004, with whom she shares a son named Pedro Waddington, then to Max Sette from 2008 to 2010, and since 2015, she has been married to actor and director Daniel Alvím.

    One of her sisters was Susana Ranaldi Nogueira, who was one year older than Helena and tragically passed away from cancer at the age of 20.

    Despite the loss of Susana at a young age, Helena has occasionally shared glimpses of her family life, such as celebrating her father’s 88th birthday in 2025, highlighting the close bonds within her extended family.

    She gained widespread acclaim for roles in popular series such as “Presença de Anita” in 2001, where she played Lúcia Helena, and “Coração de Estudante” in 2002 as Clara Gouveia.

    Her portrayal of Márcia in the 2006 telenovela “Páginas da Vida” further solidified her status as a leading actress, earning her critical praise for her emotional depth.

    Helena has also appeared in films and miniseries, including “The Awakener” in 2018 and its series adaptation, as well as more recent works like “Cordel do Amor Sem Fim” in 2023, where she contributed as both an actress and writer.

    Throughout her career, she has taken on diverse characters, from romantic leads to complex dramatic roles, appearing in over 19 projects and occasionally producing content.

    Accolades

    Ranaldi has received several nominations for her outstanding performances, particularly in the Contigo! Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress in 2003 for her role in “Coração de Estudante.”

    In the same year, she earned another nomination for Best Romantic Couple alongside actor Jayme Periard for the same series, highlighting her chemistry on screen.

    Overall, she has garnered at least three award nominations throughout her career, recognizing her contributions to Brazilian television and film.
