Homa Bay Governor, Cyprian Awiti’s August 8 win has been declared null and void.
High Court Judge, Joseph Karanja nullified the election following a petition filed by former Kasipul MP, Oyugi Magwanga.
Delivering the judgement, Judge Karanja said that the IEBC did not conduct the election in a free and fair manner.

Magwanga cited massive irregularities during the poll.
The court has ordered IEBC to conduct a repeat election that will be in accordance to the constitution and electoral laws.
